The L3H2 Enterprise version of the Citroen Relay van is designed to take some serious loads. Being one of the largest vans in their class, the main job of the Relay is to transport a hefty amount of material in one go.
There is plenty of room in the back of the van with a load volume of 13m3, so you’re easily able to fit a couple of pallets in the back. Whatever the type of stock you’re shifting, the Citroen Relay Enterprise is more than capable of handling it as it is made to be able to carry up to 1.5 tonnes!
Loading and unloading is made simple with the Citroen Relay, too. Both the back doors and sliding side doors gives you access options, even if you have been blocked in. With being able to fit pallets in the van, the loading sill is already low enough for forklifts. But, a pneumatic suspension can be included to lower the van further to make loading even easier.
The Enterprise is powered by the Blue HDi diesel engine which gives the Citroen Relay an efficient fuel consumption rate of 42.8mpg which is surprising for a large van with a two-litre engine. There is a stop start mechanism which prevents you wasting any fuel while sitting in traffic. The CO2 emissions are also lower than you’d expect for a big vehicle at 154g/km.
You’d think being a big van that it would be difficult to manoeuvre but for such a wide vehicle, it turns and drives surprisingly well. It also helps that the parking sensors and the dual lens mirrors give you confidence in where you are and what is around you. Because you’re not going to see everything in a vehicle this big.
The cab of the Citroen Relay provides comfort with an adjustable seat for the driver and generous room enough for you and two others. For a driver who spends the majority of their time behind the wheel, the Citroen Relay comes with DAB radio, Bluetooth and air conditioning. The Enterprise includes a 5 inch colour touchscreen, too.
The Citroen Relay Enterprise is also available on finance lease, hire purchase and contract hire.
